Engine 9-2 arrives to find first floor well involved

124 Bonsall Ave, Glenolden - Crews from Engine9-2 stretching on the fire
Just after 1am the Box Assignment was struck out for 124 N Bonsall Ave, Glenolden for a reported Dwelling Fire. Engine 9-2 marked up with 4 and was quickly advised Police were on location reporting a Working Fire. While enroute Engine 9-2 observered a header in the night sky and glow from the area. Engine 9-2 picked the hydrant up and dropped a 5" supply line into the scene to find a 2 1/2 Story Twin with the front portion of the first floor well involved. Crews stretched an 1 3/4 handline for interior fire attack. Crews from Engine 5 manned a second handline to the exposure while crews from Engine 9-1 manned a backup line to the structure. Crews from Tower 5, and Telesquirt 1 opened up the exposure twin while companies continued to operate.
